Calling on all sisters, brothers, couples, groups…

I recently offered a Master Class open to all individuals and couples on the potency and sacredness of menstrual blood. I was deeply touched by the hundreds who joined and even more so by the sharings that have come in since it aired. It is clear that it is time for menstrual blood to be de-stigmatized and normalized globally, by those in female and male bodies.

After all, menstrual blood was going to support a human life to develop,

what could be more potent and sacred then that?!?!

While some women in Europe and elsewhere celebrate and honor this fact, the majority of the world is still shunning menstrual blood. It is often something to be ashamed of, embarrassed about, or at the very least to be kept secret and not talked about. We are currently at a crossroad in the history of humanity as we know it. Like it or not we are facing our collective shadows and whatever is not in alignment with love. The shame and secrecy around menstrual blood is an archaic remnant of patriarchal and religious disconnection from the sacredness of matter, of our bodies, of the feminine, of life. At this point, 2020, we stand more to loose by allowing this mentality and its consequences to persist then to stand for what is right, stand for the sacred, and let this relic of a decaying civilization go for good.

“Our Sacred Blood” is a global non-profit initiative and movement of those in female and male bodies of all genders, ages, cultures, religions and backgrounds, aiming to:

* normalize and de-stigmatize the theme of menstrual blood;

* increase understanding of the physical and energetic potency of menstrual blood;

* deepen our connection to the sacredness of menstrual blood.

We have created a website which will feature:

- an educational section to access accurate and empowering information on menstrual blood, including a section for young people & the “Wisdom Keepers of Our Sacred Blood” series;

- free resources such as booklets on menarche, videos, packets, etc.;

- writings and images from individuals, couples and groups from across the globe sharing about their experience of the potency and sacredness of menstrual blood, making ritual offerings using menstrual blood, pictures of art work about menstrual blood or which has been created using menstrual blood;

- a contact list of those who volunteer to hold point for “Our Sacred Blood” across the globe, so that those searching for a point person in their area can have someone to reach out to in their own language and culture.

Our Sacred Blood is not “a woman’s thing” or “a Western woman’s luxury” or “a New-Age Priestess fetish”.

Half of the population of the planet bleeds for a substantial amount of their life,

and we all owe it to menstrual blood for being here in a human body.

Isn’t it about time we ALL honor THAT?
